What we collect, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

North Grove Homes Inc. is a residential builder based in Kelowna, British Columbia. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and our inquiries, how we use it, and the choices you have. We follow British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

Information you give us. When you fill out a form, email or call us, we collect what you share: your name, email, phone number, property address, the kind of project you're considering, budget range, timeline and any details you add.
Information collected when you visit. Like most websites, ours uses cookies and similar tools to record things such as the pages you view, your device and browser type, your approximate location, and how you arrived (for example, a Google search or one of our ads). This does not identify you by name.
We use your information to respond to your inquiry, look at what your property allows, prepare feasibility checks and quotes, follow up about your project, and keep a record of our conversations. We use website information to understand which pages are useful, improve the site, and measure whether our advertising is reaching the right people.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with other businesses for their own marketing.
We use a small number of service providers to run our business: Google (email, the spreadsheet where we keep client records, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Google Ads), Cloudflare (website hosting) and Web3Forms (a backup that delivers form submissions by email). They only process information to provide their service to us.
Some of these providers store information outside Canada, including in the United States. Information stored there may be accessible to authorities under that country's laws.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work. You can turn off personalized Google ads in your Google ad settings, and stop Google Analytics from recording your visits with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
By sending us a form or contacting us, you consent to us using your information as described here. You can withdraw that consent at any time by emailing us, and if you ask us not to contact you again, we won't.
We keep inquiry records for as long as we need them to respond and follow up. For clients, we keep project records as long as we need them for warranty, tax and legal purposes. After that we delete them.
Access to your information is limited to the people at North Grove who need it, using password-protected accounts. No method of sending or storing information online is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us.
You can ask what personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it. Email us and we will respond within 30 days.
If you have a concern about how we've handled your information, please contact us first so we can make it right. You also have the right to contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia.
If we change this policy, we'll update it here and change the effective date at the top.
